Odia is one of the language options in CTET, which is why the CTET Odia Question paper is so important for Odisha candidates. A person who intends to teach at both levels (Classes I to V and Classes VI to VIII) has to appear in both papers, Paper I and Paper II.
Before downloading the CTET Odia Question paper, confirm that you meet the minimum qualification laid down by the NCTE. The requirements are different for the Primary Stage and the Elementary Stage.

All questions in CTET are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four alternatives out of which one answer is correct. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking, so never leave a CTET Odia Question unattempted.
There are two papers of CTET: Paper I is for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V, and Paper II is for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII.

Qualifying marks and award of CTET certificate: As per NCTE notification No. 76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad dated 11.02.2011, a person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam is considered TET pass. Practising the CTET Odia Question paper repeatedly is the surest way to cross that 60% line.
Download AppValidity period of CTET certificate: The validity period of the CTET qualifying certificate for appointment was originally seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories, and NCTE later extended the validity of the TET certificate for lifetime. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET certificate, and a person who has already qualified may appear again to improve his or her score.
Procedure for conduct of examination and use of OMR answer sheet: The procedure for conduct of the examination and the instructions for the use of the Test Booklet and OMR Answer Sheet are supplied with the paper. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully before proceeding for the examination, exactly as printed on the question booklet.

Reading unseen passages — two passages, one prose or drama and one poem, with questions on comprehension, inference, grammar and verbal ability. The prose passage may be literary, scientific, narrative or discursive. In the Odia language paper these passages appear in Odia, so regular Odia reading practice matters.
